A New York City street glowing with neon at night

Nightlife — request only

Start the night closer to the front.

Some door lines can be held, case by case — many can't, and we won't pretend otherwise. Tell us the night and the venue, and we'll tell you honestly whether a StandIn makes sense before anyone commits.

The non-negotiables.

You always need your own ticket and your own government ID, and you walk through the door yourself. A held place never guarantees entry — capacity, dress code, and the door's discretion are the venue's, every time. If a venue prohibits holding spots, we don't take the booking.

An honest example.

Rooms like House of Yes are 21+ with government-issued photo ID checked at the door, and door tickets are first-come, first-served by capacity — per the venue's own FAQ. For a night like that, a StandIn can only ever hold a place in a line that exists; the rest is between you and the door. StandIn is not affiliated with any venue.

Same pricing as every line.

$25/hour, $25 minimum, capped at $99, and you only pay once a StandIn accepts. If we can't honestly cover the night, you hear no before anyone's card is involved.
