NYC pilot hiring
Get paid to hold the line.
StandIns wait in NYC lines so someone else doesn't have to. Flexible shifts, pay you can actually calculate, and a job you can do with a podcast in your ears.
What the job actually is
You get in a line at a set time. You send a couple of photo updates. You hold the spot, politely, until the customer swaps in. That's the whole job. It's outside, it's sometimes early, it's sometimes boring, and it pays for exactly that.
The math, upfront
Pilot rates: most jobs pay a flat rate per booking that works out to roughly $18 to $25 per hour of waiting, paid within 48 hours of the job. Longer or earlier lines pay more. You'll always see the exact payout before you accept a job, and you never pay us anything to work.
Who does well at this
People who show up when they say they will. That's genuinely the whole screen. You don't need a resume, you need a track record of being on time, a smartphone, and the ability to stand on a sidewalk without starting drama.
